OrthoSport Physical Therapy is proud to announce its recent partnership with ATI Physical Therapy.
The partnered organization will provide the same high-quality of care patients have come to expect from OrthoSport Physical Therapy.
Patients will benefit from additional services offered including a research-based and trademarked F.I.R.S.T.™ work conditioning/hardening
program and an in-house research department.
ATI Physical Therapy is proud to provide nine additional locations in Illinois for those in
need of high-quality rehabilitation.
The planned integration includes the adoption of a new vision statement, "We are dedicated to making a positive difference in the quality of life our patients, employees and community through the pursuit of excellence in service and the patient experience".
Mike Keenum began OrthoSport over 25 years ago. And, in those years, OrthoSport developed a reputation in many communities to provide convenient, accessible and top-quality physical therapy. Mike has recently announced to his staff members, that he has decided to retire from working and wants to take advantage of the additional time to enjoy family, hobbies and, most of all, his life.
This decision did not occur without much deliberation and consideration.
As time passed, and his personal decision to retire became a reality, Mike knew that, in order
to see the continuation of all of his efforts, he needed to find a company who shared his vision
and allow his current staff members to continue to thrive. After thorough research and discussions
and ensuring that the decision was the best for everyone involved, his choice became clear:
ATI Physical Therapy. ATI is a comprehensive orthopedic rehabilitation provider which has
continued to flourish by distinguishing itself in the industry and taking a proactive approach
toward patient care. Currently, ATI's services include specialty clinics for healthcare needs
unique to women; on-site athletic training services for universities, high schools, clubs, and
professional athletic teams; its trademarked work conditioning/hardening program, F.I.R.S.T™
(Functional Integration of Strength Training); aquatic programs and hand therapy programs.
Although he is leaving, Mike has assured us that he will be watching our progress with interest.
In closing, Mike said, "I am certain that you will all achieve great things both personally and professionally and I
wish you all the best of luck. Thank you again for your hard work and dedication throughout the years."
