Every May, Mother’s Day kicks off National Women’s Health Week as healthcare organizations nationwide dedicate the week to encouraging women to make health a priority in their lives. At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer an innovative approach to women’s physical therapy in a peaceful, supportive environment — that’s designed by women for women. ATI Women’s Health is a specialty division of ATI with women’s health therapists focused on the unique needs of the female population, with an emphasis on pelvic health. From May 13 through May 19, 2019, we’re raising awareness around these services with women’s health as our top priority.

Following the initial evaluation, the frequency of treatment will be based on the physical findings during your first visit and your doctor’s recommendations. If you have a pelvic floor or bowel/bladder diagnosis, internal manual therapy is an important part of your care and will be discussed, but may not be implemented during the first visit.
