Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) strengthens your recovery by providing access to your therapy team wherever you are. Through regular monitoring and feedback, RTM helps track your progress, ensures proper exercise performance, and keeps your recovery on the right path. This added layer of care supports a smoother, safer transition back to your active lifestyle.
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) enhances your care by extending support beyond the clinic, giving you continuous connection to your therapy team. With a personalized home exercise program and regular virtual check-ins, RTM keeps you engaged and progressing in your recovery. You’ll receive real-time feedback, answers to your questions, and plan adjustments as needed. Even after your in-clinic visits end, RTM helps you maintain progress, avoid setbacks, and quickly reconnect with care if new concerns arise.

Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) is a next-level home exercise program with real-time support from licensed clinicians. It keeps you motivated and on track between visits with expert guidance, feedback, and encouragement. Even after your in-clinic care ends, RTM helps you maintain progress and prevent setbacks.
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) is designed to enhance your physical therapy—not replace it. You’ll continue attending your regular visits with your physical therapist while also receiving extra support between sessions from an RTM clinician. This added support includes exercise guidance, education, help using the app, and more. You’ll have real-time access to your RTM clinician through direct messaging, email, phone, or video calls, so you can get answers and stay on track whenever you need it.
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring from ATI can be used to personalize care, improve outcomes, and support patients every step of the way. Here are a few brief examples of how you might utilize this service while completing your physical therapy journey.
After an initial evaluation, either in-person or online, your physical therapist determines if RTM is appropriate for you.
In between PT sessions, you are able to consult with your Virtual Care Navigator (VCN) as needed to stay on track.
If you report high pain in the app, your RTM Clinician will follow up with support and coordinate any needed updates with your Physical Therapist
If you have a question about a home exercise, your RTM Clinician can quickly walk you through it on a video call to keep you on track.
We understand you may have questions about how RTM works and if it is a good fit for your care plan. Our team is dedicated to providing clear, accurate information to ensure you feel confident in your care decisions. Here are answers to some of the most common questions.
Yes. Once you’ve had an evaluation, you can participate in RTM without ongoing in-clinic visits if appropriate for your care.
Not at all. RTM can support recovery from any injury by keeping you consistent and connected between appointments.
Yes! Staying on track outside of the clinic is key to successful recovery, and RTM helps you do exactly that.
You’ll need to download ATI’s CONNECT app. Your clinician will walk you through the setup.
Yes. Your primary PT and a dedicated virtual clinician team will monitor your activity and make updates as needed.
We recommend checking in on the app at least once a day. Your RTM clinician is available whenever you need support.
Most insurance plans cover RTM. You may have a small coinsurance cost, but monthly RTM services will never exceed the cost of one standard in-clinic visit—making it a high-value option for ongoing care.
