Brain surgeries for tumor removal
When Noah was 11 months old, he was diagnosed with a tumor in the ventricles of his brain. What followed was a year-long battle, including two successful brain surgeries to remove the tumor.
While Noah is recovering and catching up on most of his development, he has several lingering mobility issues that require intensive physical therapy. This specialized therapy has made a major impact on him learning to walk again and working toward being active like any other five-year-old boy. The intensive therapy session lasts for three weeks and requires the family to be away from home and work during these periods. The therapy costs $6,000 and is not covered by the family’s insurance. Not to mention, the additional costs of food, hotel and other necessities living away from home. Noah and his family have done this intensive therapy twice since his surgeries, and more is needed.
The ATI Foundation will provide financial assistance that will help cover travel expenses to Salt Lake City, UT where Noah goes for specialized intensive therapy as he continues to recover from brain surgery.
