Our Commitment to Patient Safety
The COVID-19 pandemic is presenting challenges to our physical health unlike any we’ve seen before.
As we all grapple with decisions on how and when to resume everyday life, I thought this would be a good time to let you know about additional steps we have taken to ensure the safety of ATI patients and team members alike. For instance, we are now asking patients to wear a mask or face covering of some kind just as our clinicians are doing as we all work together against the spread of COVID-19.
As a reminder, here are other safety measures we have previously taken. We are:
- Following the latest Centers for Disease Control guidelines, including frequent and thorough hand washing throughout the day, and particularly before and after each patient
- Sterilizing all clinic surfaces with medical-grade disinfectants
- Screening all patients, clinicians and team members for potential Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure
- Adhering to recommended social-distance practices when not delivering hands-on care
- Limiting the number of people in-clinic
- Scheduling seniors and other at-risk patients into lower-traffic hours when possible
You can read more about all the protective measures we are taking here.
For patients who may be unable to visit one of our clinics during the pandemic or for any other reason, we are proud to introduce ATI CONNECT. This online physical therapy option allows patients to receive treatment from the safety of their own home, or anywhere they have an internet-enabled device with microphone and camera.
As an essential healthcare provider ATI remains committed to delivering the treatment our patients need and expect. Thank you as always for making us your partner on your journey back to health.
Sincerely,
Ray Wahl
