Program Goal
Attendees will comprehend injuries, treatment and rehabilitation of the WC spine.
Program Objectives
- Learn how to evaluate LBP verus the traumatized spine
- Understand spine anatomy and pathology
- Understand multiple diagnoses of back and leg pain, disc disease, facet fracture and herniation
- Understand the operative management of the spine
- Appreciate expectations of improvement and goals of surgery
- Understand spine and back evaluation and treatment (history, physical exam, radiographs, MRI, US)
- RTW considerations for LBP and fusion
Targeted Audience
Nurse Case Managers with CCM credentials.
This program is approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide board certified case managers with 2.0 clock hours.
This is an intimate round table event set for a 12 attendee maximum.
