
David Harris, Clinic Director at ATI Physical Therapy’s Detroit - Northwest location was honored with The City of Detroit Spirit Citation Award. The award recognized David for his 30-year commitment to the city as a physical therapist, and for his contribution to the health and wellness of its residents.
The resolution was presented to David on March 27 by Commissioner Margaret G. Scott and Councilman Scott Benson, both with the City of Detroit. David was surrounded by family, friends, community members and co-workers.
“It is a true honor and privilege to be recognized in such a great historical city and with a great company like ATI,” said David. “This is priceless.”
David received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. David’s three sons continued his legacy by also attending Grand Valley State. A native of Detroit, David takes great pride in his hometown, and resides here with his wife, an educator in the Detroit School System.
“David Harris is an outstanding therapist and clinic director with a passion for helping others and giving back to his community,” said Dan Greenhill, Vice President of Operations for ATI Physical Therapy. “He is an integral part of Detroit and has built a reputation for taking care of those that live and work in the community. His outgoing personality makes him a dynamic physical therapist that is able to connect with all patients and exemplifies the mission of ATI.”
