
ATI Physical Therapy is please to announce expansion in Tennessee with the opening of its 9th clinic. ATI Athens, located at 1808 Decatur Pike, opened on December 15 and will offer residents of McMinn County access to care from the nation’s leading physical therapy provider.
Matt Douglas, PT, DPT has been name clinic director of the new location. Matt has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy since his graduation from East Tennessee State University in 2012. He also received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from ETSU. Matt plans on continuing his education over the next few years by sitting for the Board Certification for Orthopedic Specialists. In the clinic setting, he treats all orthopedic conditions, including work and sport-related injuries. In his spare time, Matt enjoys going to church and being with family, the outdoors, going to Tennessee Vol football games, snowboarding, and playing recreational sports. He looks forward to helping patients from the Athens community return to an active lifestyle.
Located in the heart of McMinn County in southeast Tennessee, ATI Athens is next to K-Mart in the Congress Crossing Shopping Center. The highly-trained and motivating staff is ready to provide patients with the highest quality of physical therapy and sports medicine services—all in a patient-centered and motivating environment.
