Residents of Zion, IL, now have convenient access to the nations leading physical therapy provider. ATI Physical Therapy is excited to announce expansion into Lake County with the opening of its Zion clinic, located at 2701 Sheridan Road. The new facility, which opened on March 30, is the first of two new ATI locations in Lake County, and will be followed by Lincolnshire in May, 2015.
Tina Balestreri, DPT, is welcoming patients in the Zion community, and is looking forward to providing the highest level of physical therapy in the area. Tina received her undergraduate degree in child psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2008, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin in 2011. She enjoys staying active by hiking, trail running, cycling and yoga, and spending time with family and friends. Tina is excited to work with her patients with the goal of returning them to an active lifestyle.
Located on the corner of Sheridan Road and 27th Street, the team at ATI Zion will provide a personalized, hands-on approach to get patients back to their best. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“Our expansion into Lake County is an exciting move for ATI and we are looking forward to becoming an important part of the Zion community,” said Lucas Myers, Senior Regional Director for ATI Physical Therapy. “At ATI, our focus is to provide an atmosphere that is energetic and fun—all while providing exceptional care and results. If you’re experiencing any aches or pains, give our Zion clinic a call, schedule a complimentary screening and experience the ATI difference.”
ATI offers expanded hours and complimentary screenings, plus accepts virtually all major insurance carriers. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
