ATI Physical Therapy is pleased to offer the residents of Temple access to care from the nation’s leading physical therapy provider. ATI Temple, located at 4304 N. 5th Street Highway, opened on December 15 and is ATI’s second new Pennsylvania location in as many weeks.
William Clark has been named clinic director at the new location. He graduated from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY with an undergraduate degree in physical therapy in 1980. In 1986, Will earned an advanced master’s degree in orthopedic and sports physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Profession, followed by his certification in athletic training in 1988. In addition to clinical care and operations for the past 17 years as a director and founder of OAR/Reading Sports Medicine, he has also held appointments as an adjunct faculty member in two graduate physical therapy programs in Philadelphia, was the principal owner of a continuing education program for 11 years, and co-edited a textbook entitled Orthopedic Therapy of the Shoulder. Will’s accomplishments in the field have distinguished him as an expert in the treatment of all orthopedic injuries, and he continues to participate in physical therapy education programs.
Located on North 5th Street Highway/Business Route 222 in the Target shopping center between Radio Shack and Giant foods, ATI Physical Therapy provides the highest quality physical therapy and sports medicine services—all in a friendly and motivating environment. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“We are excited to continue our expansion into the northwest Philadelphia suburbs and become a member of the Temple community,” said Jason Guarneri, Regional Director at ATI Physical Therapy. “Our team is ready to welcome new patients and create a unique treatment plan that will reduce pain, improve mobility and return them to an active lifestyle.”
ATI strives to take physical therapy to a higher level by being the bright spot in the day of its patients. It offers expanded hours, transportation for those with a medical necessity and complimentary injury screenings. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, translational research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports ATI’s patient-centered approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
