The community of Conshohocken now has convenient access to physical therapy, sports medicine and complimentary screenings from the nation’s leading provider. ATI Physical Therapy is proud to announce the September 21 opening of its newest clinic, located at 28 East Ridge Pike A-3. The new facility is the first of two planned for Pennsylvania in the fall of 2015, and will be followed by the November opening of the Parkesburg clinic.
Kendall Lytwynec has been named clinic director of the new location. A nine-year veteran of ATI, she has been a physical therapist since graduating from Thomas Jefferson University in 2011, and previously worked for ATI as a rehabilitation technician. Prior to graduating from Thomas Jefferson University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Kendall graduated from the University of Delaware with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. She enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries with special interests in sports medicine injuries, post-operative lower extremity injuries, neurological conditions and spinal conditions. Additionally, Kendall is currently working towards her certification for the evaluation and treatment of spinal conditions from the McKenzie Institute International®. An avid soccer player growing up, she played Division I soccer for the University of Delaware Blue Hens. Kendall resides in Philadelphia with her husband, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and sailing.
As friends and neighbors, ATI treats all patients like family, providing individualized treatment plans and hands-on care, all in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. First appointments are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“We are excited to call Conshohocken home, offering its residents the highest level of patient-centered care in an environment that is uplifting and encouraging,” said Anthony Gagliardi, Regional Director at ATI. “If you are experiencing aches and pains, please give Kendall a call to schedule a complimentary screening.”
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
