ATI Physical Therapy is pleased to offer Hanover residents in Anne Arundel County convenient access to the nation’s leading physical therapy provider with the opening of its newest clinic. ATI Hanover, located at 2645 B Annapolis Road, opened on December 1 and marks ATI’s 31st Maryland location.
Kate Ricks has been named clinic director at the new location. She received her Bachelor of Science in 2006 from James Madison University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Old Dominion University. Kate joined ATI in 2011 and has been leading the staff as clinic director at ATI’s Pasadena location. Her educational experience includes courses on vestibular therapy, treatments of the foot and ankle, therapeutic yoga techniques, common running injuries, and rehabilitation of the shoulder.
Located at the corner of Annapolis Road (Route 175) and Rockenback Road by Food Lion and Planet Fitness, ATI Physical Therapy provides the highest quality physical therapy and sports medicine services—all in a friendly and motivating environment. The Hanover clinic will also support the needs of the athletes from Annapolis Area Christian School, an ATI Sports Medicine affiliate.
“We are excited to be a member of the Hanover community, offering its residents unparalleled treatment and exceptional results,” said Tony Pomponi, Senior Regional Director at ATI Physical Therapy. “With patient-centered treatments, a motivating atmosphere and extraordinary results, our goal is to make a difference in the life of every patient.”
ATI strives to take physical therapy to a higher level by being the bright spot in the day of its patients. It offers expanded hours, transportation for those with a medical necessity and complimentary injury screenings. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, translational research and evidence-based medicine.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
