Emilene was born and raised in Oregon. She was a competitive gymnast for 17 years and discovered the benefits of physical therapy early in life. This inspired her to pursue a career in the healthcare field to help other individuals and athletes return to activities they enjoy doing. Emilene graduated from Winona State University in 2009, with a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science, then attended A.T. Still University to earn her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. Emilene has focused her continuing education on Manual Therapy, Spinal Manipulation, and TMJD. In her free time, Emilene enjoys spending time with her husband, yoga, hiking, working out, and church/community involvement & activities.
