ATI Physical Therapy is excited to now call Roseville home, providing area residents with physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the industry’s leader in physical therapy. ATI Roseville, located at 31120 Gratiot Avenue, opened on June 15, and marks ATI’s 67th location in the state of Michigan.
Thomas Zimmerman, MS, PT, has been named Clinic Director at the new location. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 1985, followed by his Master of Health Sciences from the University of Indianapolis in 1994. Thomas brings over 30 years of experience within the outpatient physical therapy setting, and has been through numerous continuing education courses throughout his career to advance his skills. He enjoys providing the highest quality of care to all of his patients and has extensive experience treating patients with varying degrees of orthopedic, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal deficits.
Located on Gratiot, just north of 13 Mile Road across the street from LA Fitness, the team at ATI Roseville provides a hands-on approach that is personalized for the needs of each patient. Their goal is to get patients back to their best—all in a fun and motivating atmosphere. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Roseville community and looking forward making a difference in the lives of its residents,” said Robert McDonald, Regional Director for ATI Physical Therapy. “At ATI, we not only treat the injury, we treat the individual with patient-centered care and exceptional results. If you’re experiencing any aches or pains, please give Thomas a call and schedule a complimentary screening.”
ATI offers expanded hours and complimentary screenings, plus accepts virtually all major insurance carriers. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
