ATI Physical Therapy is pleased to announce continued expansion in Pennsylvania with the December 8 opening of its Ambler clinic, located at 44 West Skippack Pike. Ambler is the first of two new ATI clinics scheduled to open this month in Pennsylvania and will be followed by next week’s opening of a location in Temple.
Scott Barnes has been named clinic director at the new location. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Widener University. Scott enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and is currently taking a continuing education course to receive his certification in orthopedic manual therapy.
Located at the intersection of Skippack Pike and Butler Pike, next to the Broad Axe Tavern and Phil’s Tavern, ATI rolls out the red carpet for each and every patient, providing a personalized care plan to get them back to their best. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“We are excited to become a member of the Ambler community, offering its residents patient-centered care in an atmosphere like no other,” said Scott Yacovelli, Regional Director at ATI Physical Therapy. “Our team is looking forward to becoming a member of this community, making a difference in the lives of our patients by providing extraordinary treatments and results.”
ATI’s highly trained staff provides a treatment plan unique for each patient, designed specifically to reduce pain, improve mobility and reduce future injuries. From the first greeting to the final celebratory high five, ATI’s friendly and motivating team is determined to make every visit the highlight of a patient’s day. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports ATI’s patient-centered approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
