ATI Physical Therapy, the nation’s leading provider of physical therapy and sports medicine services, is excited to announce the opening of its 118th Illinois location. The new clinic, located at 1406 Golf Road, will offer the Rolling Meadows community hands-on physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services. As the Official Sports Medicine Provider for the Schaumburg Boomers and Harper College, the clinic will help support the needs of its athletes. Rolling Meadows is the first of four new ATI Illinois clinics scheduled to open in early 2015, and will be followed by Northlake, Burbank and Zion.
Tim Hilbert, PT, DPT, is welcoming patients at the new location. A 25-year resident of nearby Arlington Heights, he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University and his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University. Tim brings 20 years of physical therapy experience to ATI, and enjoys working with the orthopedic, sports medicine and workers’ compensation population. Additionally, he is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and certified in ASTYM, a non-invasive treatment utilizing plastic instruments that allows a deeper assessment of the soft tissue layers.
Located on the corner of Golf and Algonquin Roads between the Starbucks and Potbelly Sandwich Works, ATI sets a higher standard for physical therapy with its simplified, patient-centered approach. With a focus on the patient experience and return to an active lifestyle, ATI cares for patients from the moment they walk in the door to their last celebratory high-five. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“We are excited to bring our unique services to the Rolling Meadows community, offering residents personalized care, extraordinary outcomes and an atmosphere that is unparalleled,” said Lucas Myers, Senior Regional Director for ATI Physical Therapy. “Tim is excited to welcome new patients and encourages anyone with aches or pains to stop in for a complimentary screening.”
ATI offers expanded hours and complimentary screenings, plus accepts virtually all major insurance carriers. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
