ATI Physical Therapy is excited to open its 72nd Michigan clinic in the community of Warren. Located at 8381 E. 12 mile Road, between 12 mile and Van Dyke, this location will offer physical therapy, sports medicine, workers compensation services and Next Step program.
Welcoming patients at Warren is Clinic Director, Zubair Fayyaz. Zubair received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2010, and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2013, both from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations and specializes in using manual techniques, as well as functional exercises and therapeutic activities to return patients to an optimal level of function. As a passionate athlete, Zubair enjoys treating athletes and orthopedic patients and has taken several continuing education courses to further gain knowledge on orthopedic pathologies, joint mobilizations, Kinesio Taping® techniques and the integration of Pilates with core stabilization activities. His clinical experience includes treating patients for pre and post-operative care, musculoskeletal pain, work hardening, and postural/body mechanics education for further prevention of injury. In his free time, Zubair enjoys playing on various sports leagues including flag football, softball, tennis, and basketball and also volunteers as a proctor and guest lecturer for the Oakland University physical therapy program.
“At ATI, our mission is simple; to exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality care in a friendly and encouraging environment,” said Fayyaz. “At our brand new Warren facility, we are equipped with the perfect tools to do just that. We have brand new state of the art equipment, and a staff that really cares about each and every person that enters the door. We are excited to provide industry-leading services to the third largest city in Michigan and to let this community experience the ATI difference.”
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
