ATI Physical Therapy continues its expansion in Michigan with the December 8 opening of its Sterling Heights clinic, located at 35724 Van Dyke Avenue. The opening of Sterling Heights marks ATI’s second new location in Michigan this month, bringing its total number of clinics to 60.
Ashleigh Tazzioli will lead the team at the new location. She received her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Michigan-Flint. Ashleigh enjoys running, long distance races and recreational sports, and looks forward to working with her patients to return them to an active lifestyle.
Located on the northeast corner of Van Dyke and 15 Mile Road in the Marketplace Court across from the Chrysler Stamping Plant, ATI’s highly trained staff provides a treatment plan unique for each patient, designed specifically to reduce pain, improve mobility and reduce future injuries. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“We are excited to increase our presence in Michigan, giving residents of Sterling Heights access the exceptional care provided by ATI,” said Ashely Piazza, Regional Director for ATI Physical Therapy. “Our team is looking forward to working with patients on their individual needs and goals, so they can return to a functional and pain-free life.”
From the first greeting to the final celebratory high five, ATI’s friendly and motivating team is determined to make every visit the highlight of a patient’s day. It offers expanded hours, transportation for those with a medical necessity and complimentary injury screenings. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
