Ryan Center for Hand Therapy Joins ATI Physical Therapy
ATI Physical Therapy is excited to announce further expansion into the south suburbs with the recent acquisition of the Ryan Center for Hand Therapy, 400 S. Kennedy Drive in Bradley, IL. The addition of the hand center complements the physical therapy, workers’ compensation, aquatic and sports medicine services provided by ATI at its two local outpatient clinics in Bourbonnais. ATI Sports Medicine provides athletic training services at Bradley Bourbonnais High School, Bishop McNamara High School, Kankakee High School, Kankakee Community College, Clifton Central High School, Herscher High School, Manteno High School, and Momence High School.
“We are thrilled to welcome this team to ATI. The Ryan Center for Hand Therapy is the top choice for hand therapy in the Bradley, Bourbonnais and Kankakee area, and we are looking forward to continuing this tradition,” said Jason Hafner, Senior Vice President of Operations with ATI Physical Therapy. “Joalice Ryan, owner of the Ryan Center for Hand Therapy, has done an exceptional job over the past six years, and we are happy to team up with her and her staff members moving forward. With the support and resources of ATI, we will be rolling out the red carpet to this community to deliver a great experience for our patients the minute they walk in the door.”
Patients can expect the same friendly faces. All of the certified hand therapists, occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants at the Ryan Center for Hand Therapy will continue their roles with ATI. The clinics will gradually be adopting the ATI Physical Therapy name over the next few months.
“I could not be happier for both my staff and patients that Ryan Center for Hand Therapy is joining the ATI family. We have all worked hard over the years to establish my clinic as the premier provider of hand therapy in all of the south suburbs,” said Joalice Ryan, Owner, Ryan Center for Hand Therapy. “Joining forces with ATI will not only allow us to build on what we have accomplished, but to grow and increase our efficiency in a way that we could not have done on our own. Patient care will as always remain the first priority, and the track record and accomplishments of ATI truly make this a win-win situation for all involved."
Founded in Willowbrook, IL in 1996, ATI now has 89 clinics in Illinois and over 300 locations nationwide. Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation” by ADVANCE magazine, ATI is one of the first physical therapy companies in the country to be awarded URAC Core Accreditation, a mark of distinction that recognizes ATI’s commitment to quality health care. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, translational research, and evidence-based medicine.
ATI’s expertly trained staff provides individualized treatment plans designed specifically to reduce pain, improve mobility, and reduce future injuries. From the first greeting to the final celebratory high five, ATI’s friendly and motivating team is determined to make every visit the highlight of a patient’s day.
To give back to the local communities where ATI patients and staff work and live, ATI established the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to medical complications and physical impairments.
ATI provides complimentary injury screenings, transportation services for those with medical need, and new appointments within 48 hours. Clinics are open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment.
