Spinal & Orthopedic Rehabilitation Joins ATI Physical Therapy
ATI Physical Therapy is proud to announce further expansion in the Detroit metro area with the acquisition of Spinal & Orthopedic Rehabilitation, a four clinic practice based in Michigan with locations in Clinton Township, Novi, Pontiac/Bloomfield Hills and Southfield. With the addition of these locations, ATI Physical Therapy now has 58 clinics in Michigan.
“Spinal & Orthopedic Rehabilitation is a perfect fit for ATI, complementing our existing Michigan locations,” said Brent Mack, PT, Chief Clinical Operations Officer at ATI Physical Therapy. “Both of our organizations have the same goal—to exceed our patients’ expectations by providing the highest level of care possible. By combining our resources, we will continue to provide the same exceptional care SOR is known for, along with future growth that will allow us to positively impact the lives of more patients.”
Patients can expect the same friendly faces and same exceptional services. All of the physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists and staff at Spinal & Orthopedic Rehabilitation will continue their roles with ATI. The clinics will gradually be adopting the ATI Physical Therapy name over the next few months.
“The team at Spinal & Orthopedic Rehab is very proud to join ATI. Together, we will continue to provide the same level of high quality patient care, and also incorporate the resources of ATI that will allow us to elevate this care to the next level,” said Bill Bean, Director of Physical Therapy at Spinal & Rehabilitation. “ATI and SOR have a similar mission and passion—being the best choice for physical therapy and patient-centered care. We have always taken great pride in the level of care delivered and look forward to extending that in our new partnership.”
Founded in 1996, ATI is based in Bolingbrook, Illinois and now operates 340 clinics in 12 states: Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin. Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation” by ADVANCE magazine, ATI is one of the first physical therapy companies in the country to be awarded URAC Core Accreditation, a mark of distinction that recognizes ATI’s commitment to quality health care. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, translational research, and evidence-based medicine.
ATI’s expertly trained staff provides individualized treatment plans designed specifically to reduce pain, improve mobility, and reduce future injuries. From the first greeting to the final celebratory high five, ATI’s friendly and motivating team is determined to make every visit the highlight of a patient’s day.
To give back to the local communities where ATI patients and staff work and live, ATI established the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to physical impairments.
ATI provides complimentary injury screenings, transportation services for those with medical need, and convenient appointment times. To make an appointment call 1-855-MY-ATI-PT or visit www.atipt.com for a location near you.
