Monroe Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Joins ATI Physical Therapy
ATI Physical Therapy is proud to announce expansion into the Southern Illinois/St. Louis Metro East area with the acquisition of Monroe Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, a six clinic private practice with locations in Columbia, Freeburg, Millstadt, Red Bud and Waterloo in Illinois, and Oakville in Missouri. With the addition of the Missouri location, ATI Physical Therapy now has clinics in 11 states.
“Monroe is the leader for physical therapy in the Southern Illinois/St. Louis area, and we’re excited to welcome this team to the ATI family,” said Brent Mack, Chief Clinical Operations Officer, ATI Physical Therapy. “Our expansion into this market is in an investment in the future and allows us to positively impact the lives of more individuals. With the resources and support of ATI, we will continue to provide the same great quality of care for which Monroe Physical Therapy has always been known, along with future growth throughout the Southern Illinois/St. Louis area.”
Patients can expect the same friendly faces and the same services. All of the physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, athletic trainers and staff at Monroe Physical Therapy will continue their roles with ATI. The clinics will gradually be adopting the ATI Physical Therapy name over the next few months.
“With the changes in the healthcare landscape over the past few years, I realized the need to partner, and ATI Physical Therapy is the perfect partner for Monroe Physical Therapy,” said Fred Shinn, Owner, Monroe Physical Therapy. “Our nearly three decade history in the area, dedication to high school athletes, and commitment to wellness will be enhanced through this move. The resources ATI brings to the table will truly allow us to take better care of each community we serve. ATI’s commitment to our communities, our staff and their families has been nothing short of amazing! I am excited we will serve as the platform for development of ATI Physical Therapy in Southern Illinois, St. Louis, and Missouri.”
