ATI Physical Therapy is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of The Indianapolis Star 2013 Top Workplaces. ATI is ranked #12 in the mid-sized business category, jumping up three spots from last year’s ranking.
Known for exceptional results and an upbeat atmosphere, ATI is a nationally recognized outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation provider with over 25 locations in the Indianapolis region and new clinics opening soon in Southwest Indy, Martinsville and Columbus.
“ATI’s philosophy is to treat our employees the way we want our patients to be treated, with respect and consideration,” said Mark Schodrof, Vice President of Operations, ATI Physical Therapy. “We are proud to be recognized for creating a work environment that fosters personal and professional development, as well as being enjoyable and rewarding.”
This year 119 companies participated in the annual Top Workplaces survey by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. Of the 20 questions that WorkplaceDynamics asked nearly 23,000 area workers, the six that deal with connection (employees feeling they are appreciated and doing something meaningful) and direction (employees being emotionally bought into what the organization is striving to achieve) had the highest level of importance.
Here is what ATI employees had to say:
“I get to see people grow and change every day. I love seeing people achieve a better quality of life. ”
“I work in a friendly and encouraging environment.”
“The people I work with. They are all so full of energy and have such great attitudes. We have a lot of fun together.”
“Defined benefits, including continuing education and ensuring that vacation time is being taken. The positiveness of co-workers and willingness to help each other out, working together as a team.”
“Everyone in the company lives by the mission statement as well as the values. We all sincerely want to provide all of the values and mission to not only patients, but staff as well.”
“The orientation really helped me to learn more about the company and take pride in working for such a tremendous organization.”
ATI offers a generous benefits plan, flexible work arrangements, continuing education expenses, and an employee assistance program. It is a priority of the company to promote wellness, and provides employees free work-out facilities, discounts for non-smokers, free health screenings, and numerous healthy activities such as fun-runs, massages and health fairs.
