ATI Physical Therapy Named Among Top Workplaces in Philadelphia for the Third Straight Year
ATI Physical Therapy is proud to once again be named as one of the Top Workplaces in Philadelphia by Philly.com. ATI is ranked #11 in the midsize business category, up two spots from ATI’s ranking in the small category last year.
Top Workplaces 2013 is an effort to discover the best employers in the Philadelphia region - as decided by each company's employees. More than 26,000 were surveyed by WorkplaceDynamics of Exton.
Here is what ATI’s employees had to say:
“I feel useful and appreciated and I feel that we are truly helping people.”
“I work in a friendly and encouraging environment.”
“The environment at our clinic is positive and fun.”
“They truly care about my wellbeing and have never made me feel like just another employee. I feel like family here!”
“The company strives to ensure that all employees are aware of and follow laws, rules and ethical standards.”
WorkplaceDynamics invited 1,281 companies with at least 50 employees in the region to participate in the survey. Of those, 154 firms with a total of 75,480 local employees were surveyed
Fewer than half of the 26,483 workers surveyed - 45 percent - cited the fairness of their pay as an important factor for working where they do. Only one third - 33 percent - said having a benefits package comparable to others in the same industry was important to them.
Instead, most top workplace workers said it was more important that they thought their company was heading in the right direction (68 percent), that they had confidence in their corporate leader (64 percent), and that senior management knows what it's doing (61 percent).
Pay and benefits also took a backseat to a feeling of being genuinely appreciated at the company (67 percent), confidence in their own future there (65 percent) and a belief that the work they were doing was meaningful (63 percent).
Strong corporate ethics and values (59 percent), a feeling that the job has met or exceeded their expectations (58 percent), efficiency and managers who care about employee concerns (56 percent each) also took precedence over paychecks and health insurance coverage.
