ATI Physical Therapy opens downtown Wilmington clinic on November 19

ATI Physical Therapy continues to serve New Castle County by opening a new clinic on the Wilmington Riverfront on Monday, Nov. 19. Located at 914 Justison Street, Wilmington residents no longer need to leave downtown to experience the same friendly and customer-oriented services that ATI delivers at its multiple other Wilmington-area locations.
Staying true to the ATI mission, Wilmington clinic employees craft personalized treatment plans for each patient and deliver quality care in the energetic and upbeat environment. The Wilmington clinic features services in physical therapy, sports medicine, and functional capacity evaluations. In addition, the clinic offers the F.I.R.S.T. program, ATI’s internationally-recognized work hardening/conditioning program.
“This new Wilmington clinic allows us to serve a whole new population of patients,” said Dylan Bates, President and Chief Operating Officer, ATI Physical Therapy. “It’s convenient for anyone who lives or works downtown, and we’re looking forward to creating positive experiences for patients here at the Riverfront.”
ATI also offers free transportation services for those with medical need, expanded hours, and complimentary injury screenings, all to better serve the Wilmington community.
Joe Dawson, a Wilmington native, assumes the role of clinic director. Dawson earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2002 and has since then completed extensive course work focused on osteopathic manual therapy of the spine and extremities. He regularly treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, work-related injuries, and post-operative patients. In addition to treating patients, Dawson earned his credentials as a certified clinic instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association and has mentored several new clinicians throughout his career.
Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation” by Advance Rehab Magazine, ATI has also achieved URAC Core Accreditation, a mark of distinction that recognizes ATI’s commitment to quality health care. ATI’s commitment to its patients and employees, as well as the medical professionals and communities in which they serve, has led to impressive growth. Founded in 1996, ATI now boasts more than 190 clinics in seven states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
To give back to the local communities where ATI patients and staff work and live, ATI established the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to medical complications and physical impairments.
ATI Physical Therapy offers morning, afternoon and evening hours. To make an appointment at the Wilmington clinic, please call 302-351-0302.
