In honor of National Physical Therapy Month, Avon Clinic Collecting Donations for Hearts in Motion
ATI Physical Therapy is celebrating the opening of its new clinic in Avon, Indiana by collecting items for families in need. The new ATI Avon clinic, located at 10651 E. US Hwy 36, Avon, opened October 15th.
“At ATI, we are committed to improving the lives of our patients and making a positive difference in the community,” said Dylan Bates, President and Chief Operating Officer of ATI Physical Therapy. “Our motivating staff members are tuned into the needs of our patients and compassionate about the medical needs of those outside our walls.”
With the opening of Avon, ATI now has more than 20 locations in central Indiana and more than 190 locations nationwide in seven states. Two additional clinics will open soon in Carmel and Downtown Indy.
Known for exceptional results and an upbeat atmosphere, ATI provides customized treatment plans, delivered by the best physical therapists. Unique in the industry, ATI has a dedicated in-house Research Department to improve rehabilitation outcomes through basic science, translational research, and evidence-based medicine.
During the month of October, patients and the public are encouraged to stop by the new Avon clinic and donate items for Hearts in Motion, a non-profit organization founded and operated by a physical therapist to provide care and medical treatment for children and families in the U.S. and Central and South America. Suggested donation items include diapers, new children’s clothes, dry baby formula, first aid kits, exercise equipment and sports equipment.
In addition to the donation drive for Hearts in Motion, ATI gives back to the local communities where ATI patients and staff work and live through the ATI Foundation. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to medical complications and physical impairments.
Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice” in the country by Advance Rehab Magazine, ATI Physical Therapy has also earned Core Standards Accreditation by URAC, a Washington, DC-based healthcare accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the healthcare industry.
