Residents of Wicomico County will soon have a new option for their physical therapy needs – ATI Physical Therapy. ATI opens it first clinic in Salisbury, Md., on Monday, Dec. 3. The clinic, located at 2420 North Salisbury Blvd., Unit 5, features services in physical therapy and sports medicine.

Katie Beiger leads the team at Salisbury North as clinic director. Beiger is a California native and has worked at ATI since September 2011. She received her B.S. from Sonoma State University in California in Kinesiology-Exercises Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Following her cross-country move to Virginia in 2008, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Masters of Athletic Training from Shenandoah University where she completed primary research on the outcome of pitching velocity, accuracy, and mechanics after a six-week core strengthening program. Beiger’s professional experience includes treating athletes, vestibular impairments, and orthotic fabrication.
Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation” by Advance Rehab Magazine, ATI has also achieved URAC Core Accreditation, a mark of distinction that recognizes ATI’s commitment to quality health care.
To give back to the local communities where ATI patients and staff work and live, ATI established the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to medical complications and physical impairments.
