ATI Physical Therapy, the industry’s leader in physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services, is excited to announce the opening of its newest clinic. ATI White Lake is conveniently located at 9278 Highland Road in the Fisk Corners Shopping Center, and marks ATI’s 69th location in the state of Michigan.
“ATI is excited to be a part of the White Lake community, offering its residents the best care and extraordinary results,” said Scott Smith, Regional Director at ATI. “Our goal is to be the highlight of our patient’s day, providing an atmosphere that is energetic and encouraging. If you’re experiencing aches and pains, please stop by, schedule a complimentary screening and let ATI make a difference in your life.”
Scott will be leading the team at the new White Lake location. A native of Grand Blanc, he earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint. Scott enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic needs, with a special interest in post-op shoulders and knees, hips, and shoulder joint replacements. In his spare time, Scott spends time with his family and enjoys tennis, backpacking and kayaking. He is looking forward to welcoming new patients at ATI White Lake, and returning them to an active lifestyle.
Initial appointments at all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, with early morning and evening hours available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
