ATI Physical Therapy is proud to announce the opening of its newest Michigan location in Owosso. Located at 1697 E. Main Street in the Walmart plaza behind Los Tres Amigos, ATI Owosso will offer the community physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the leader in the physical therapy industry. The Owosso clinic marks the first of two new Michigan locations for ATI, and will be followed by this week’s opening in Holly.
Welcoming patients at the new location is Owosso-area resident Lori Konopacke. An 18-year veteran of the community, Lori brings 28 years of experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including headaches, TMJ, neck and back pain, joint replacement and extremity care. An alumna of the University of Michigan, she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1987, and has completed numerous continuing education courses to help her patients achieve optimal function and reduction in pain. In her spare time, Lori is an active member at St. Paul Church and enjoys golfing and attending her children’s sporting events.
“We are looking forward to becoming a part of the Owosso community, providing rehabilitation programs that meet the individual needs of our patients,” said Casey Maul, Regional Director at ATI. “At ATI, our focus is on the patient experience. From the minute you walk into the front door, we want to exceed expectations. If you’re experiencing any aches and pains, please stop by, schedule a complimentary screening with Lori and experience the ATI difference.”
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
