ATI Physical Therapy opens their second clinic in Abingdon today. The new clinic, located at 3491 Merchant Blvd., Suite 108, features services in physical therapy, hand therapy, and sports medicine.

The team at Abingdon South will develop and deliver personalized treatment plans for each patient while encouraging and having fun with the patient every step of the way.

Josh Budai leads the team at Abingdon South as clinic director. Budai graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Athletic Training. He later earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duquesne University in 2008 before joining the ATI team in September 2008. Throughout his career, he developed a special interest in orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Budai is a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association, which allows him to mentor students during their clinical education, and a Certified Workers’ Compensation Healthcare Practitioner, which allows him to develop treatment plans for injured workers.
