ATI Physical Therapy is expanding in Bloomington, IN with the opening of a new clinic at 820 - 822 S. Auto Mall Road. The clinic, which opened on June 16, is ATI’s second area location and will accommodate the growing need for ATI's physical therapy services in Eastern Bloomington.
Located near the campus of Indiana University and the College Mall, ATI provides physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services in a friendly and upbeat environment. Services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, and therapeutic modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
“The opening of the Bloomington East clinic will provide our continued exceptional patient care with added convenience for the community,” said Jeffery Drake, Regional Director with ATI. “Having a clinic on the West and East side of town will help us provide improved accessibility for Indiana University college students as well as the residents of these communities.”
Michelle Heck, DPT, has been named the lead clinician at the Bloomington East location. Michelle completed her undergraduate studies at Franklin College, and then obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2012. While in college, Michelle competed in both cross-country and track, and currently coaches the distance program at a local high school. As a physical therapist, Michelle enjoys treating all patients from ages 10 to 90, but specifically enjoys treating runners. Furthermore, she has experience in workers’ compensation and work conditioning programs. Michelle is excited to become a part of the Eastside Bloomington community.
