Residents of Silver Spring now have additional access to services from ATI Physical Therapy, the industry’s leader in physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services. ATI Aspen Hill, located at 13735 Connecticut Avenue in the Aspen Hill Shopping Center, marks ATI’s second clinic in Silver Spring, and is complimented by other convenient locations in Rockville and College Park.
“We are excited to open our second Silver Spring location, as it reinforces our commitment to this great community,” said Tony Pomponi, Senior Regional Director at ATI. “At ATI, our goal to exceed patient expectations—every day. We provide a plan of care based on each patient’s needs, and promise a friendly and encouraging environment. If you’re experiencing any aches and pains, please stop by, schedule a complimentary screening and experience the ATI difference.”
Welcoming patients at the new location is Caitlin Roxby. An alumna of Wheeling Jesuit University, she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. Caitlin is currently pursuing her certification as a vestibular specialist for the treatment of vertigo, dizziness and imbalance. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, and her experience as an athletic trainer gives her a unique perspective on the treatment needs of the sports medicine population and a passion for working with athletes. In her spare time, Caitlin stays active with hiking, fishing, swimming and boating, and looks forward to returning her patients to an active lifestyle.
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
