ATI Physical Therapy expands into Sussex County on Monday, Oct. 8, by opening a new clinic in Seaford, DE. The Seaford clinic, located at 22832 Sussex Highway, joins two other offices in Sussex County, one in Milford and another in Millsboro.
Staying true to the ATI mission, the physical therapy experts at Seaford craft personalized treatment plans for each patient and deliver quality care in an energetic and upbeat environment. The Seaford clinic features services in physical therapy, sports medicine, and vestibular rehabilitation.
“We’re looking forward to expanding downstate and rolling out the red carpet for a whole new set of patients,” said Dylan Bates, President and Chief Operating Officer, ATI Physical Therapy. “Others in the Delaware community have recognized and identified with the ‘ATI difference,’ and we’re excited to help create positive experiences for our patients here in Seaford.”
ATI is taking physical therapy to a higher level with evidence-based treatment programs backed by an in-house research department, transportation services for those with medical need, expanded hours, and complimentary injury screenings.
Ryan Kardos, a Sussex County resident, assumes the role of clinic director at the new Seaford location. Kardos graduated from Arcadia University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is experienced in a variety of treatments, from sports medicine to neurological rehabilitation. He developed an interest in vestibular therapy and later received certification in Vestibular Competency through Emory University in 2010. He has worked for ATI Physical Therapy for over three years specializing in treatment of BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, and other balance and dizziness conditions, and will continue to treat vestibular disorders in Seaford.
Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation” by Advance Rehab Magazine, ATI has also achieved URAC Core Accreditation, a mark of distinction that recognizes ATI’s commitment to quality health care. ATI’s commitment to its patients and employees, as well as the medical professionals and communities in which they serve, has led to impressive growth. Founded in 1996, ATI now boasts more than 190 clinics in seven states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
To give back to the local communities where ATI patients and staff work and live, ATI established the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to medical complications and physical impairments.
ATI Physical Therapy offers morning, afternoon and evening hours. To make an appointment at the Seaford clinic, please call 302-536-5562 or visit www.atipt.com.
