ATI Physical Therapy is excited to announce that its Ann Arbor location has moved to a new location. The new clinic, now located at 4765 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor, will feature the same friendly and knowledgeable staff members. Patients will enjoy new and improved treatment areas, state-of-the-art equipment, and the energetic environment of a brand new clinic.
Leading the team at Ann Arbor-Jackson Rd, is Bradford Skinner. Brad received his Bachelors in Health Science and Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan. He has worked in both hospital and private practice settings. Postgraduate education has focused on the prevention and treatment of spinal disorders. He was one of the first therapists in Michigan to become McKenzie certified. He attended the residency program in this approach and was awarded a diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment in 1998. In 2002, Brad became a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. Brad has experience in spinal injuries through his experience providing spine injury prevention services at the Daimler Chrysler Proving Grounds and his work with a wide range of spinal disorders that failed other approaches. Brad’s other passion is sports medicine and general orthopedics. He has received extensive post graduate training in the treatment of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot/ankle complex.
“We had the great opportunity to move our Ann Arbor West clinic just down the road into a new, more visible space with better parking.” said Keith Krings, Regional Director at ATI “This “all ATI” building will also be the home of our Michigan corporate headquarters with plenty of administrative space and training areas for education and new hire orientations. The clinic will continue to provide the “customer first” product with our experienced staff and state of the art equipment including the Alter G for our running population. We are excited to have a corporate home base for Michigan in Ann Arbor and combine it with a thriving clinic.”
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
