Department of Research at ATI Physical Therapy Publishes Nine Articles in 2013
2013 was a remarkable year for Dr. Chris Stout, Director of the Department of Research and Data Analytics at ATI Physical Therapy, and his colleagues at ATI. In total, nine peer reviewed articles were published in various medical journals, covering topics from quality control and patient satisfaction to workers’ compensation and healthcare reform topics.
In collaboration with Dr. Stout, ATI staff and local physicians combined their in-field expertise and clinical knowledge to author articles. ATI's Department of Research was established to provide: continuous innovation in clinical care and quality improvement with a focus on value provided; long-lasting contribution to the scientific body of knowledge and clinical evidence; publication and presentations; and continuing leadership in the field.
“We are very proud of our publication and presentation success rate as well as the work it reflects,” said Stout. “2013 has been, and 2014 promises to be, banner years for our research work. We’ve focused on evidence-based approaches and clinical outcomes—which with today’s focus on healthcare reform, have been met with great interest. We are very excited about our upcoming studies using our fully-integrated outcome evaluation system—it is like no other in healthcare.”
