Leading the team is John Maccanelli. John graduated from the University of Wisconsin Parkside in Kenosha, WI with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology in 2006. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 2009. John enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations and specializes in using manual techniques. As well, he uses functional exercises and therapeutic activities to return patients to an optimal level of function. As a former competitive power lifter, John has always enjoys treating athletes and patients with orthopedic injuries. He has taken several continuing education courses to further gain knowledge about orthopedic pathologies, joint mobilizations, and vestibular disorders. His clinical experience includes treating patients for pre and post-operative care, musculoskeletal pain, work hardening, and postural/body mechanics education for further prevention of injury. In his free time, John enjoys hiking with his family and remodeling his home. He also participates in fund-raising to further cancer research for treatment and prevention.
