On Saturday, July 16, 2016, the ATI Foundation hosted its annual Cruisin-4-Kids Motorcycle Ride and Celebration in Wisconsin! The day began at Marx Pioneer Inn in Muskego, WI and riders enjoyed a scenic cruise with stops at Dover Inn (Kanasville), Not Too Far Away Pub and Grill (Elkorn), Blue Overalls (Elkorn) and Lindey's on Beulah (East Troy), before wrapping up the ride with a post-ride celebration back at Marx Pioneer Inn.
Over 75 bikers and guests participated in the day’s events, raising over $4,500 for the ATI Foundation, supporting local kids with physical impairments.
The highlight of this year's event was the special presentations given to Brayden and Alexandra's Ambition Foundation.
Brayden, received $3,500 for a new stander and a new harness which will help with core strengthening. Brayden, a twin born at 29 weeks who has several undiagnosed physical impairments, was nominted by one of his nurses who was treated by James at ATI's Franklin, WI location.
The ATI Foundation also presented a $2,500 check to Alex, the featured beneficiary for the Wisconsin region in the 2013 ATI Foundation Holiday Kids Campaign, and her mom for their new charitable organization Alexandra's Ambition Foundation. They will provide financial assistance to other families with children diagnosed with Arthrogryposis. This marked the first major donation to Alexandra’s Ambition Foundation that will help other children just like Alex.
