ATI Physical Therapy Opens New Clinic in Baltimore’s Western Suburbs
Balitmore, MD - ATI Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, opened a new Maryland location on April 14 at 836 N. Rolling Road in Catonsville. The new Catonsville clinic, located in the 40 West Shopping Center, features physical therapy and sports medicine services.
“Our new Catonsville clinic will provide a more convenient location for our existing and new patients in the Baltimore region,” said Tony Pomponi, MPT, Senior Regional Director, ATI Physical Therapy. “We are excited to offer the Catonsville community the highest quality of care and the same positive outcomes that patients have become accustomed to at our other ATI clinics.”
Founded in 1996, ATI Physical Therapy has 25 locations in Maryland and over 300 clinics nationwide. ATI strives to take physical therapy to a higher level by offering expanded hours, complimentary injury screens, and transportation services for those with medical need. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, translational research, and evidence-based medicine.
Mark Halley, DPT, will be relocating from the Rosedale clinic to practice at the new Catonsville location. Halley received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Medical School. He has completed extensive additional training in manual based treatment from Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine. In this free time, Halley enjoys kayaking and spending time in the outdoors.
Halley’s areas of specialty include treating conditions such as acute and chronic back and neck pain, headaches, and general orthopedic conditions such as shoulder, foot, and knee strains and pain. His treatment approach focuses on proper biomechanical functioning with an emphasis on manual therapy.
“I feel that taking a manual approach provides a more efficient progression and improvement since it directs treatment towards the root cause of symptoms in a holistic manner,” said Halley. “As a therapist, I am most rewarded when a patient leaves the clinic feeling better with improved function.”
ATI Physical Therapy has received many local, regional, and national accolades for its commitment to quality care and a motivating, patient-friendly environment. ATI was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine and has achieved URAC core accreditation, recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare.
As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work, and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
