What Is Isokinetic Dynamometry?
ATI Physical Therapy offers this unique service involving technology that provides clinicians with more options during the evaluation and treatment of patients by measuring the performance of different muscle groups.
ATI uses Kin Com® isokinetic dynamometers, exclusively available in our Chattanooga region. This type of equipment is typically found in upscale athletic training rooms for athletes at the collegiate and professional level. Complex applications enable a wide range of sensitive force measurements for numerous angles and speeds. Clinicians can program a sequence of test and exercise modes that target all of the body’s peripheral joints. Measurements may include strength, torque, resistance and fatigue.
